Update regarding Virtual High School

A message from the Virtual High School Office:

Virtual HS will start offering Spanish I and Latin I this coming fall session. The courses will be completed in one semester and we will add Latin II to our catalog for the spring 2016 session. We currently also have Spanish II and III in our catalog and both will run this summer session.

Virtual High School Courses
Rising 9th grade students have the option of signing up to take a course through the Virtual High School (VHS) during the summer. Students enrolled in PWCS can take a course for $450, and students earn full course credit, but should expect accelerated pacing to master the course content.

Relevant Courses available for rising 9th graders include: English 9, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, World History to 1500, HPE 1, Earth Science, Biology.

Information for students in specialty programs: Students frequently take a course in the VHS to create room in their schedule for desired electives. This can create room in their schedule for programs such as robotics, band, JROTC, art and programming. Students often choose to take HPE I in VHS, but there are a variety of course options.

More information can be found here: Virtual High School
